About Coach

Born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona, Nick Daley grew up surrounded by sports, competition, and a drive to succeed. As a standout athlete, he helped lead his high school team to a state championship, then continued his baseball career at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, where he led the NJCAA in stolen bases with 57 in 55 games.

That success earned him a scholarship to Stephen F. Austin State University, where he started every game he was healthy for. A series of injuries during his collegiate career eventually shaped his passion for strength and conditioning. With the help of skilled strength coaches and physical therapists, he was able to rehab, rebuild, and finish his senior season strong.

After college, Nick began coaching youth athletes and quickly realized something was missing in most training programs—there was little focus on true athletic development. That realization led him to Overtime Athletics, where he learned the foundations of strength, conditioning, and program design focused on long-term athlete success.

From there, the Universal Speed Rating (USR) system became a cornerstone of his training approach, helping athletes make measurable, game-changing gains in speed and strength. By combining USR data with Vitruve Velocity-Based Training, he built a system centered around performance, accountability, and measurable progress.

In November 2024, Daley Training officially opened in Rockwall, Texas, with a mission to help athletes of all levels become stronger, faster, and more resilient. The vision is simple—build the most trusted and effective training facility in Rockwall and, eventually, the entire DFW area
